Agreement between User and Scrumify School
Welcome to Scrumify School (“the Site”). The Site is operated by Scrumify LLC (“Scrumify”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully. Your use of the Site indicates your agreement to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Description of Services
Scrumify School provides online education, including IT training, Product Management, and career coaching services. These Terms govern your use of all services provided through the Site.
Privacy
Your use of Scrumify School is subject to Scrumify’s Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains our data collection practices and how we protect your personal information.
Electronic Communications
By using the Site or communicating with Scrumify via email or other electronic methods, you agree to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you via email, notices on the Site, or other methods. You agree that all agreements, notices, and other communications we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
User Accounts
If you create an account on the Site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Scrumify immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You are solely responsible for all activities conducted through your account.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
You may cancel your enrollment prior to the start of any course. Cancellation requests after the course begins are subject to approval by Scrumify’s CEO. If you do not obtain a job within three months of the cohort start date, you may be eligible for a partial refund, as specified in your Student Agreement.
Intellectual Property
All content available on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Scrumify or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may use this content for personal purposes only. You may not modify, distribute, reproduce, or create derivative works based on any part of the content without express written consent from Scrumify.
Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful or prohibited activity. You will not attempt to damage, disable, or impair the Site or access any content that is not intentionally made available to you.
Children Under Thirteen
Scrumify School does not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen years of age. If you are under 18, you may only use the Site with permission from a parent or guardian.
Links to Third-Party Sites
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. These Linked Sites are not under the control of Scrumify, and we are not responsible for the content of any Linked Site. Links are provided as a convenience, and inclusion does not imply endorsement by Scrumify.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scrumify, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and third parties for any losses, costs, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
In the event of any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms, the dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Federal Arbitration Act. Arbitration will be conducted by a neutral arbitrator in a mutually agreed location. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
Limitation of Liability
Scrumify will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Site. The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Termination
Scrumify reserves the right to terminate your access to the Site at any time, without notice, for any reason. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Texas courts in any dispute.
Changes to Terms
Scrumify reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Site indicates your acceptance of the modified Terms.
